I-Mobile Suit Hangar RPG
Mobile Suit Hangar RPG is a strategy-game based loosely on Role Playing. Mobile Suit Hangar is a Text-Based Mobile Suit Gundam game. The MSHRPG uses a Dice-Based system to determine the outcome of battles. But wait! Combat is only the beggining! the stars are the limits in the MSHRPG. if you can type it, you can do it. The only exception is ABSOLUTELY NO GOD MODDING. that means you can declare what you are doing, but you may NEVER declare what happens to someone else.

II- Paychecks, Purchasing and producing MS[/size]
Paychecks- Every Friday at 1:00AM (-5GMT) each factions leader will recieve money determined by the Territories they control. The faction leader will divide the money how they see fit, and post in the players profile how much they are receiving. That player may then spend that money any way.
Purchasing MS- There is a list of the MS and other units currently available for purchase in the Shop boards. In order to purchase units, you must place the names into a list (see the example below) with how much they cost next to them. Subtract the total from your total cash ammount, and then post your remaining cash. Total = $2000 ------------------ x2 Zaku II -$1400 ------------------ Total = $600
Producing purchased MS and Units- I have finally purchased my Zaku II's! now what? Now we have to choose where we want them to be produced(placed). Place a list of all your newly purchased suits in the Factory of whatever City or Colony you control that you wish them to be produced in. The city/colony MUST have a factory in order to create units.

III- Character Creation
Character creation is the most important step of the entire RPG.Your character may or may not relate to you, and does not even have to be the same Gender.
Each player controls his or her main character, who is the Commander of their fleet. You can create side character profiles for any other crew members or pilots you wish. You may post these in the side character section.

IV- Combat
The Combat system can be very confusing, so the best way to learn is to read other players posts, and ask questions.
Capturing Mobile Suits: In order to capture a mobile suit, you must first disable it. Roll a 10 sided dice to attempt to disable a suit. 1-6 = miss 7=9 = pilot bails 10 = pilot killed (OC's get a save) after the disabling shot is scored, the MS get's a regular save roll.

V- Capturing and Holding Territory
In order to capture territory, you must first destroy (or capture) all mobile suits in use in MORE THAN half of that territory. Also, you must remain in the City/Colony for at least 24 hours to gain control of the territory.

VI- Newtypes
Newtypes are very important in tipping the scales of a war, both Cyber Newtypes, and Natural Newtypes.
Becoming a Newtype- Cyber- A Cyber Newtype can be created in a Newtype lab, which I will post prices for when it is created. both DOZ and EFF may purchase these (After all, DOZ did it fist) Each facility will be able to make 1 newtype (can make another if they die) or 2 if it is upgraded. A character must remain in the lab for 1 month to become a newtype
Natural- A Natural Newtype must have been born in space. they do not realize their potential right away, but constantly become better. each person may have only 1 newtype.

VII- Gundarium Alloy
Gundarium is used to make Gundam's and Gundam-like units. In order to buy one of those units, you must also have Gundarium which is obtained from the Moon or Luna II.

That means the Federation currently has the advantage on that point, controlling both the Moon and Luna II, right?

We're going to reset territories, but the EFF will always have the advantage on Gundarium, unless the Zeon take it from them. I forgot to lock this thread, so once it is final, I'll be moving all Non-rules post from this thread.

Oh? I didn't know you were planning to reset territories. That being the case, you might want to include the Zeon lunar city of Granada.

well that one I chose to leave out (I am very aware of Granada) because I wanted the moon to be easier to capture, but if everyone wants Granada, I will add it.
