Due to the RP nearly fizzling out, new rules are to be instated.
Movement: Basically the same as the old way, but travel times are now significantly cut. In the old system where it would take a hour to move from one territory to another, it is now 10 minutes.
Shops: As with movement, times will be cut down. Prices however will be raised, to avoid spamming. A few other changes are also in the works, so this will be updated when they are concrete.
Research and Development: The times and will be cut a bit, and R&D will no longer be individual, the whole faction can now research as a whole. The shops will have the basic units "unlocked" while all others are "locked." Once a user researches a unit, they get 1 unit for the price they paid to research it, then the unit is unlocked in the shop for the full price. The exceptions are Gundams and Late War Zeon Units such as Gelgoogs.
Combat: Rules are similar to the old system, however there are a few new additions. The die is to be changed to a 20 sided die, replacing the standard 6 side. This allows for more weapon variation and spices up the rolls a bit. Tiers are no longer combat related ergo the standard save roll rule has been changed. You must match or surpass the opposite of the roll of the attacker. Take the number they roll and subtract it from 20. Whatever number you get you have to roll that more more to save Example: Your attacker rolls a 3 for a beam hit, you must get a 17 or more to dodge. Weapons will have set damage stats, and numbers you need to roll for a hit. They will be listed in the shop when they are up. The MS stat bonuses, such as attack +2, will lower the roll needed to hit. Mobility stats will be applied to saves. There are a couple of penalties. If your type of machine has a disadvantage, such as a tank vs an MS, you have to add 3 up for a save. If the MS rolls a 10 for a hit, the tank must roll a 13 or more.
Customization: We are allowing more broad customization. You will pay a research fee and your units stats or weapons can be upgraded. You want a Gouf cannon hand on your Z'Gok? You can do that. Only big limitation is that units that cannot use beams stock, cannot be customized to have beams.
This is just the start, more rules are coming. If you want a say join the mibbit chat, every night at 6PM EST (New York Time).
