Biography: Born on U.C 0056 Causia was the youngest daughter of a family of engineers who had resided on the space colony of Side 3 since it’s completion. The Zimmad Family had always been makers and over the years had founded a manufacturing company that produced various parts and components for spacecraft and industrial vehicles.
The year of Causia’s birth however marked a dark time in the small company’s history. Zimmad had run into some financial issues and were having difficulties making profits due to a highly competitive market, competitors willing to use underhanded means to undersell them, and various Federation tariffs and bureaucratic elements that made manufacturing far more difficult than it had any right to be.
Stalford Zimmad, father of the family and President of the company, took the birth of his baby daughter as a sign to double his efforts to improve their financial situation. He shifted the company away civilian manufacturing to manufacturing armaments. The Side 3 Defense Force was looking rely more on local manufacturing and had put out a number of contracts.
The small Zimmad Company managed to win several of the contracts and while at first overtaxed by the severity of the orders, rapidly grew and expanded. By the year 0075 they were a large manufacturing group with dozens of factories, designers, and staff members. Zimmad had become a major competitor and even butt heads with the previously unassailable Zeonic Company.
Causia started out living rather modestly but due to the success of her father’s business interests soon became very, very wealthy. She received a fine education and personal training on various things her father would make her more suited to running the company one day. Spacecraft training, aircraft training, special vehicle operation, various things to make her more familiar with the weapons and vehicles Zimmad would produce.
Despite growing up rather happily Causia felt a sudden wanderlust engulf her and ran off to goin the military under a false last name “Kretencall”. Military training was harsh and pushed her farther than she felt willing to go, but she soon proved to be a natural and showed a great deal of affinity for the mobile suits that were still in development.
Graduating from training she rapidly made her way into a minor leadership position and looked forward to getting to take part in the war with the Earth Federation...
